DO-NOTHING HARPER MUST GO

Mr Harper betrayed everyone who voted Conservative in the last election and all of you remained fooled so long as he gets away with it.

Instead of being the steady hand at the wheel of the Canadian economy and the best to face the growing economic crisis, which was already on the table of discussion during the English language debate when it was manageable, the Prime Minister introduced through his Finance Minister a weak economic statement that was more about partisan posturing than doing anything to help mitigate the economy.

That was NOVEMBER. The crisis that followed was created by Harper himself and then fueled by first his complete failure to simply apologize and correct it, then his neck saving action of proroguing parliament.

While the Conservatives have managed to frame the coalition as a bad thing for Canada the fact is delaying action on the economy for a full 10 weeks while Harper ran another campaign against the opposition did FAR MORE DAMAGE BY INACTION than a bunch of wild monkeys would've.

And this is the point that many people simply refuse to rationally consider. PEOPLE ARE SUFFERING and for the government to abrogate their responsibilities, forcing most Canadians to suffer a Christmas in increased insecurity, while many Canadians were unemployed without jobs to get was beyond irresponsible.

As insane as a Dion/Layton government sounds now any action from that coalition would've been measured and responsible; otherwise it too would've lost the confidence of the majority of the house. AND IT WOULD'VE HAPPENED 80 DAYS EARLIER than "Do Nothing" Harper managed.

Mr Harper has to go. He has lost the confidence of the people of Canada, he did not provide the steady hand at the wheel that he promised. Harper is the reckless cowboy willing to ride the team to the very brink in order to save his own neck.

We NEED a leader who is far more concerned with action than self-preservation. Barrack Obama, who managed to guide US policy BEFORE assuming control did. Harper DIDN'T.
