FOOL ME ONCE SHAME ON YOU, FOOL ME TWICE...

Our next election will be very telling indeed. Compared to W Mr Harper didn't look so bad. His policies were the same but he was more articulate. Compared to Obama however he's coming across as the out of touch, overreaching oligarch, Bush clone that he really is.

The Coalition already expedited the replacement of Dion from the Liberal party so it has already been the best thing to happen to Canada in the last 30 years.

And hopefully many of those who couldn't bring themselves to vote for Liberal in the last election and instead choose to support Jack Layton have now seen Mr Layton as the opportunist he really is. Not that that was a surprise, Layton is after all the man who brought down Paul Martin to prop up Stephen Harper!

So the reversal of fortune in the next election should be quite telling indeed and the only province that will protest it is Alberta, the only province in Canada that has had one party rule for more than 30 years straight.

I've never understood how any Albertan could continually justify re-electing the Conservatives to their provincial government, even giving them a majority after the billion dollar Nova scam of the 90's, and again when the taint of the 300 million Peter Pocklington affair reached all the way to the Premier's office, but I don't mean to denigrate the people who did.

And for the people in Alberta who keep voting Conservative regardless of how badly they run things, denigrate means put down.
